SARCO, is the biggest secondary Aluminium recycling plant in Saudi Arabia with a production capacity of 1200 tons / month.

SARCO, Saudi Aluminium Recycling Company is the biggest secondary Aluminium recycling plant in Saudi Arabia with a production capacity of approx. 1200 tons/ month. We supplies aluminium sows and alloys to casting industries by recycling scrap metal and turnings by melting it in the reverberatory furnaces to produce different alloys and sows. The entire plant operation are all PLC controlled. The control system prepares automatic operation, production supervision, data logging and quality control in the melting/ cast house. SARCO abides by the philosophy of Quality, Safety and Environment. Based on the different chemical elements added, products shape, or heating method, etc the major industrial nations all have their own national standards for various types of aluminium alloys. Sarco produces a large variety of secondary aluminium alloys and master alloys, according to the following grade and shape. We are on the process of getting LME registration to all our products. LM alloys according to BS1490 , like: LM24, LM25, LM6, LM2 etc

Japanese alloys to JIS , like: ADC10, ADC12, AC2C, HD2BS1 etc

American alloys to AA , like: 380, 384, 356 etc

Production ProcessThe aim is to recycle all types of Aluminium Scrap and convert it to an Alloy type according to customer requirement. Secondary Aluminium scrap is processed into 5 8 Kg Ingots of, AlSi20 Master Alloys, AlMn10 Master Alloys, AlSi Alloys, AlSiCu Alloys, all international Alloys & 1000 Kg Sows. Raw materialSarco purchase many grades of aluminium scrap and other materials for recycling. We have extensive experience in scrap metal purchasing and enjoy an excellent reputation. It is required that aluminium scrap be segregated and separated for the different types and is made free of other metallic, paper, plastic, cardboard so on. The scraps recovered are treated according to their quality and characteristics. As a rule, computer controlled selection and mixing of scrap types whose chemical composition is as close as possible to that of the needed alloy. MeltingThe selected aluminium scraps is melted in rotary furnaces under a layer of liquid melting salt (flux) . AlloyingThe molten metal is fed into a holding furnace (converter) and purified through charge correction, additives and heat treatment. Casting

The molten aluminium is cast into ingots or sows, according to specific customer requirements. Casting alloy, produced are supplied in ingot. The ingots weigh, depending on the shape of the mould used, between 4 and 25 kg. The sows will be cast directly from the rotary furnace, weigh between 500 and 1000 kg. QualityEvery single charge of the furnace is tested in the plants laboratories with modern computer controlled analytical technology equipment. Quality AssuranceSarco guarantees its customers the best value for their purchase by low cost, high quality and valuable support service. Stringent quality control measures are applied throughout the process starting with the scrap, down to the finished product. All incoming scrap is checked to ensure that the quality is as per specification. Further, depending on the alloy to be produced, selective scrap segregation is done, to ensure that only the selected material is melted, thus ensuring compositional integrity of the final alloy. All incoming scrap is marked with a weighbridge ticket number and a quality assessment report. The batch material, which are prepared for melting, are referenced by this ticket number. Thus for a given melt, it is possible to trace back the history of the material which went into the melt. All casts are referenced by a Cast No. , a Product Code, and Alloy Code. It is thus possible to trace and reconstruct the flow of material from the Rotary Drum Furnace through the Cast House and into stock in case of a customer request. Our Q. C centers also provide after- sale service to our customers. We employ highly trained staffs to provide technical service and free consulting services to our customers. Our goal is to exceed the markets expectation in leadership, business acumen and quality assurance, says Executive Director, CEO Sheikh Abdullatif Al- Amoudi.
