An alloying process is controlled on- line through the use of the direct reading emission spectrometer. The Direct Reading Emission Spectrometer enables us to monitor our refining and alloying processes on- line. MASB is equipped with the latest and most innovative computerised testing equipment to keep in step with the state - of- the art production of lead and alloys. Our equipment provide us with fast and accurate analytical result for various lead- based and tin based alloys and our metallurgical laboratory conducts intensive research on the physical properties of various alloys. After approval is receive from laboratory the alloy automatically cast and stacked in bundles of forty two (42) ingots each. All products have to be tested by the Quality Assurance Department and comply to international standards. Final checked will be conducted upon packing the goods for customers specification and also industry standard. Test results and manufacturing process are properly documented and only certified product will be delivered to customers. The companys production and testing processes have contributed greatly to where MASB today.
