Water fairing- installed onto high speed ferry, being the leading edge of seawater suction channel.

materials - 5052, 5083, 6061 aluminum block, measuring 1300/ 1500 mm W x 450/ 500 mm H x 3000/ 4000 mm L; can be hot forged to customer requirement. profiles- machined from above solid aluminum block measuring 1000 mm x 400 mm x 350 mm . double V joint preparation, mig weld of profiles to 50 mm thick aluminum plate. facing milling of coaming and drilling of mounting holes on the machined unit. when finished, the complete unit is installed onboard ship, submerged under seawater, the unit constantly facing corrosive attact at high speed (ferry travelling at 40 knots) . four units being constructed and put to service up to date since early 2005, all in excellant condition. two units under construction currently, with AlMg4. 5Mn aluminum. this time cast to profile, less machine work, time saving.
