Rubber Mixing Mills: The rolls are manufactured by the advance centrifugal process & are primarily a clear carbon chilled cast iron or a Cr- Ni alloyed chill cast iron. These rolls have a hollow core for the circulation of the cooling water during its service. After casting the rolls are annealed to relieve the internal stresses thus improving the strength of the material. After heat treatment the rolls are machined & ground as per users requirement.
