As you all most certainly know, GDMB will continue the series of important "Cobre - Copper"- conferences that have been held in North and South America in recent years. It is a great honor that the forthcoming Copper conference will take place in Europe for the very first time: themed "Copper - Indicator of the progress of civilization", in which the conference will take place from June 6 to 10, 2010, at the Congress Center Hamburg, in Hamburg, Germany. The main organizer is the GDMB Gesellschaft für Bergbau, Metallurgie, Rohstoff- und Umwelttechnik along with its organizing committee chairman: Dipl.-Ing. Michael Kopke.
The conference is supplemented by a metallurgical exhibition that provides an excellent opportunity for attendees/delegates of the metal producers/smelters and delegates of equipment manufacturers/service suppliers to discuss all the potential solutions for solving the actual problems or further upgrading of plant components/equipments.
