Background

Sometimes called cupro- nickels, there exists a range of different copper nickel alloys that possess different properties and hence are suited to a range of different applications. Some of the better known copper nickel alloys include:

Copper with 10% nickel

Copper with 30% nickel



All copper nickel alloys consist of only one phase as the copper nickel binary system exhibits complete solid solubility.



A Copper Nickel Alloy in the ratio of 90/ 10 that has very high erosion and corrosion resistance. It has very high weld ability, easy for installation and are used for Condensers, Ship building, Refineries etc. 70/ 30 Cupro Nickel Tubes (Size range: 3 mm OD to 50 mm OD with thickness of 0. 5 mm to 20 mm wall) For the mechnical properties add EN 1057 after ASTM B 280 Tensile strength 220 MPa, Elongation - min 40 and Hardness - annealed.
