The International Engine Congress of VDI and ATZlive has become an absolute must for engine developers. Every year in February, decision-makers and specialists meet here from all over the world to discuss the future of the internal combustion engine.

The fact is – the Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) is far from over, but its involvement in tomorrow's propulsion system is changing. We want to consider this fundamental role in terms of its potential in cars and commercial vehicles.

Key technology is the fuel. Therefore, the congress is based on three equally thematic pillars: consideration of the entire system of passenger car and commercial vehicle engines and fuels. This creates a technical and thematic depth that clearly distinguishes this congress from other events. The aim is to make targeted use of the synergies with regard to fuels, their properties and the new approaches that they emit in drive development. With the close integration of car and commercial vehicle engine developers and fuel experts, we want to continue to promote the exchange of experience within the multi-generational congress.
