There are two ways in which the wire can be galvanized: the first way is by electro- galvanized which produces a thin layer of zinc along the length of the wire. The second way is by physically running the wire through molten- zinc, which coats the wire in a thicker layer. Both ways will prevent the wire from rusting, keeping your wire in good condition. Electro- galvanized wire is available in thickness ranging from BWG8 to BWG30. Hot- dipped wire is available from BWG8- BWG39.
