Metadur 64 S is an extra hard surfacing electrode for wear resistant overlays which are subject to extremely severe abrasion by sand gravel, ore, coal cement or slag.

Very thick coated electrode for high wear resistant overlays which are subject to abrasion up to working temperatures of 600?C (1100?C) . Therefore it is suitable for hardfacing in crushing plants, scraping leaks for the zinc industry, blast furnance hinging equipment, palm nut press srews, Impellers and I. D. Fans.

Due to the Mo- content there is wear resistance up to 600?C. In case of more than 3 layers the bottom layers should be welded with E 350 Kb
