ProductionRecycled lead ingots are made from waste charged batteries which come from cars, factories and transformer stations. These waste batteries are classified as specified industrial wastes. Waste charge batteries are configured of the grid, oxid p. p, the separator and battery acid and among these the grid and oxid are recycled.
The scrap from the waste batteries are mixed with coke, limestone, iron scrap and return slag and are reduced and melted in a smelting furnace. The resulting mixture is dross in order to produce crude lead
CaO, FeO are the main components and some of them are cooled and hardened in order to be disposed while the rest is reused as return slag.
