In the MRK system beams with closed profile, 2C joined together are used. Joined beams consist of 2 C profiles, sy mm etrical, joined together positively longitudinally. Closed profile created in this way has double thickness on the most loaded lower walls. Joined beams are in 6 different section heights (89, 102, 114, 126, 145, 165 mm ) , whereas the section width remains the same 51 mm . All beams have connectors with three or four catches welded on each end. Beams hang on the frames are additionally secured by clasps against accidentally coming loose. Basic advantages of positive joining beam- column include: easier assembly and disassembly, high quality connection, great resistance to horizontal impacts. Beams consisting of 2 C joined profiles are made from sheet 1. 5 mm thick, and connectors made from sheet 4 mm thick.
