TIMES FERRO ALLOYS LIMITED [TFAL] was incorporated in June, 2004 under the Indian Companies Act, 1956 bearing no. 21- 096228 for setting up a Ferro alloys plant at Barjora, Bankura, WB for manufacturing Ferro Silicon & Silicon Manganese used in the manufacturing of steel. Its Registered Office is located at FE 219, Salt Lake, Kolkata- 700 106. Authorized Share Capital of the company is Rs. 125. 00 divided into 12, 50, 000 equity shares and paid up Capital Is Rs. 122. 75 Lacs as on 31. 03. 07. The Directors of the company are Shri Naresh Agarwal, Shri Shwet Agarwal and Shri Ayush Agarwal. The company has already setup a 6 MVA arc furnace for manufacturing Ferro Silicon/ Silicon Manganese with an annual capacity of 11, 500 MT at Barjora in the backward district of Bankura which co mm enced its co mm ercial production in June, 2008. M/ s Purbanchal Alloys Limited ?another Ferro alloy manufacturing unit in Byrnihat, Meghalaya with same motto and product as of M/ s Times Ferro Alloys Private Limited since 2002. It is a 5 MVA furnace with a capacity of manufacturing 4000 MTA of Ferro Silicon. The unit is also undergoing expansion with a 100% CPP for power backup. It is a pride of the state that, the unit is involved in socio- economic development in the state. State- of- Art technology has been implemented to install two submerged are furnaces with fully automatic weighing, batching and raw material handling system. It is a continuous process industry, power intensive in nature.
