Offer Description - Non-reduced grades of carbonyl iron powders
Non- reduced grades are standard iron grades with a purity level of no less than 97% .
The main impurities are carbon (max. 1. 2% ) , nitrogen (max. 0. 9% ) and oxygen (max. 0. 7% ) that are found in the end product in the form of carbides, nitrides and oxides correspondingly. Unique properties of non- reduced carbonyl iron are determined by particle structure and become apparent under the exposure to electromagnetic radiation from 0. 1 to 100 MHz. These properties can be varied within a broad range making it possible to control the inner structure of spheroids, particle size distribution and expose powders to additional mechanical and chemical treatment. The difference in particle size distribution of different grades of powders determine the difference in physical parameters. Finer powders are characterized by higher density, specific surface area, that's why they can be effectively used as catalysts or in metal injection molding (MIM) industry that determines excellent strength and high density of MIM- parts.
