Offer Description - PIG IRON
Using Blast Furnace Technology, Sintering Plant of capacity 2 x 18 mtr and Captive Power Plant of 4 MW
Obtaining the State- of- the- art Technology, the 10 MW waste heat Captive Power Plant will use the heat of the waste gases from the Sponge Iron kiln to generate power. The Power generated will be used to feed the power requirements of the company.
The unit will be equipped with dust precipitation system with bag filters that will help maintain the statutory solid waste PPM level in the effluent gases. Harmful gases during the final discharge level will be stringently maintained through proper selection and blending of raw materials and correct blending processes in the boilers.
POWER PLANT
MS ROUNDS
In tune with the growing demand for steel thus ultimate requirement of Ferro Alloys, the group is planning to set up 9. 5MVA submerged arc furnace to produce 15400 of Silico Manganese initially and with expansions on the anvil, it would produce HC Ferro Manganese and also Ferro Silicon with two more furnaces being installed. The company has plans to use the power generated from the CPP to feed its Ferro Alloy Plant, thus saving cost.
The group has plans also to manufacture Premium alloys and value added products such as Low Al Ferro Silicon MC Silico Manganese, Low Carbon Ferro Chrome as per demand from valued customers.
PIG IRON
Using Blast Furnace Technology, Sintering Plant of capacity 2 x 18 mtr and Captive Power Plant of 4 MW, the group with an investment of about 200 crores has located prime land on the Durgapur- Asansol Express Highway to put up a 320 CUM Pig Iron plant under the banner VIKASH SMELTERS LTD.
