Shipment date: September/ October 2008
QUALITY/ CHEMISTRY:
Carbon: 3. 50- 4. 50%
Silicon: 1. 50% maximum
Manganese: 1. 00% maximum
Phosphorus: 0. 15% maximum
Sulfur: 0. 05% maximum
Typical content of Si and Mn as well as actual range.
For the pig iron produced in the south of Brasil, the Typical Si content will range from 0. 40 to 0. 80 with the max. guaranteed of 1. 50% . For the Mn the typical content is also very low, ranging from 0. 2 to 0. 50% with a max. guaranteed of 1. 0% .
Pig Size: 3- 5 kg each.
Current Price:
The last business concluded last week was done at US$855/ MT FOB Vitoria (valid till 25 July 2008) of 50. 000 MT for shipment during September/ October. We still have available tonnage for shipment at the end of September (August production) that we could negotiate.
