The hot- dip galvanized steel coils that S. C. PROFILAND S. R. L. produces on its own line become the support material for the prepainted coils of the PROFILAND- INTFOR Group. They are produced according to EN 10169- 2/ 2006 and EN 10169- 3/ 2006, as per the following specification: Thickness: from 0, 2 mm to 0, 8 mm
Width: from 800 mm to 1250 mm
Coil weight: 5- 8 MT
Coil inner diameter: 508 mm
Coil outer diameter: 900- 1500 mm
Zinc layer: 100- 275 g/ sqm on both sides
Thickness of the coat layer: we can offer prepainted coils with layers ranging from 5 to 30µ.
Upon customer demand, the prepainted strip can also be delivered as cut- to- length sheets. Paint properties:
The paints used to coat the prepainted coils are produced by AKZO- NOBEL Sweden.
The thickness of the coat layer and the types of paints used on the coating line are: Primer: 5- 7 µm
The types of primer used are: PU (polyurethane) , Epoxy and Polyester
The primer prevents the appearance of corrosion and increases the paint adherence Top coat: 18- 25 µm
The “top coat” types that we use are: PE (polyester) , SMP, PVDF, PU (polyurethane) , PVC, and Acrylic.
The “top coat” prevents the appearance of corrosion, increases the adherence of the paint and improves the workability and the resistance to ultraviolet incidence Back coat: 8- 15 µm
The back coat prevents the appearance of corrosion and increases the adherence of the paint to the polyurethane foam.
