Benemec Carbon produces and offers three types of carbon sidewall blocks- Amorphous (S), Semi-Graphitic (S30) and Graphitic (S100). All these blocks can be applied as side/ end wall blocks in aluminium electrolysis cell, ferroalloy furnaces and ladles.
Benemec S :Â Amorphous carbon blocks produced from best quality electrically calcined anthracite and coal tar pitch
Benemec S30 : Semi-Graphitic carbon blocks produced from best quality electrically calcined anthracite and coal tar pitch with addition of 30% graphite.
Benemec S100 : Graphitic carbon blocks produced from 100% graphite and coal tar pitch.
The dimensional tolerances on individual block for length, width and height are +- 3 mm maximum
