Billets are produced according to ASTM, DIN, EN, BS, JIS and TS standards for mainly reinforcing and structural purposes.



Billets are produced in sizes of 100, 110, 115, 120, 130, 140, 150, 160, 170 and 200 mm by continuous casting method.

Billets are normally sheared into lengths of 12 m.

Tolerance limits for the billets are given below: Length: +/ - 100 mm

Side Length: +/ - 3 mm

Corner Radius: 10 mm max.

Out of Straightness: % 1 max.

Permissible Twist: 1?/ m. Max.

Difference between diagonals: % 6 max.

Hook end: 30 mm max.



Billets are secured with four steel bands.

The heat number is indicated on each billet for traceability.

Certificates of chemical analysis referring to the heat number are dispatched with delivery.
