On the other hand, in the form of metal, it is used, for example, in the manufacture of jet turbine blades, missile parts and nuclear reactors.

Brazil occupies a prominent position in the world scenario of tantalite mining, either as a reserve holder or as a producer; and the medium-term outlook for the tantalite market is one of relative scarcity and significant price increases. The total Brazilian reserves represent about 68% of world reserves.
