Cherrit's Zincalume/ Galvalume jacketing is manufactured from high tensile steel with coating of 55% aluminium, 43. 5% zinc and balance 1. 5% silicon by weight for superior corrosion protection. This zinc and aluminium coating formulation was developed int he 1960's after extensive studies on improving the performance of hot- dipped galvanized products.
