Alloy B- 2 is the further development of Alloy B- 2 and has the same excellent corrosion resistance

to boiling hydrochloric acid / hydrogene chloride and boiling sulfuric acid (up to a concentration of

60% ) Alloy B- 2 is resistant to carbide grain boundary separations in the heat influenced welding

zone so that it can be employed for most chemical applications without heat treatment. Alloy B- 2

is furthermore resistant to stress corrosion cracking as well as pitting corrosion.
