Medium Carbon Ferro Manganese is widely used in the manufacture of tool Steel ( up to 0. 4% Mn. ) & structural steels (upto 0. 6% Mn. ) . These medium carbon ferro manganese have high affinity towards combining with sulphur. Used as a de- oxidizer, these medium carbon ferro manganese find their usage in 18- 8 Austenitic non magnetic stainless steel.
